How to Get Help Help-A-Pet is a non for profit organization which provides financial assistance to pet owners who are unable to afford the cost of veterinary services, medicine, or medical supplies for a sick or injured pet. To qualify, your annual income must be below $20,000 for an individual household or $40,000 for a family household (amount varies upon the number of dependents). Due to limited funding, financial assistance can only be provided once per pet. |

No questions regarding the availability, amount, expediency, etc. of assistance can be answered until a complete application with proof of income is received! To apply, please provide the following documents:
- A complete and signed application
- An application with questions left unanswered will not be considered for assistance
- A copy of your most recent federal tax return filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), not a pay stub or W2 form. If you do not file a Federal Tax Return, please provide a copy of government assistance documentations such as a disability income or food stamp letter, or a medical aid care.
